Our Cottage
Our wooden beams and rustic interior creates the perfect little country cottage. With an equipped kitchen and cosy bedroom, what more could you want? As a guest, you will have the entire cottage to yourself. This includes: a fully functioning kitchen, relaxing lounge area, dining room, a cosy bedroom plus a small garden and private terrace with stunning views. Staying at Tenacre Cottage will also allow you to treat yourself to a well-deserved bath. Pillows, bed linen, hand towels, toilet paper and various other necessities are provided on arrival. We also accommodate parking for one car.

Located on the outskirts of Owslebury, Tenacre Cottage is just a 5-mile drive from the historic City of Winchester. On our doorstep, just a few minutes down the lane we have the wonderful Marwell Zoo home to giraffes, penguins, tigers and many more. People travel far to visit this well-known Zoological park. The New Forest is close by, a short 25-minute drive and home to wild ponies and even pigs in the autumn! The City of Southampton is also only 16 miles away, here you can find our closest shopping centre and the local airport.
Kitchen and Lounge area
Our spacious yet cosy open planned downstairs area features an equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, oven and hob as well as a washing machine. Cutlery, basic cookware, crockery, glasses, mugs and tea towels are provided.
Dining Conservatory
Double doors lead to the summery conservatory room. Accompanied by the bright and airy light, this is the perfect spot to dine with the patio doors wide open, allowing the fresh breeze to flow in.
Bedroom
The rustic stairs lead you to the roomy and spacious bedroom while the warm lighting and homely beams make the cosiest of settings. Overlooking acres of fields from each window you look out, a peaceful nights sleep is almost guaranteed, but do listen out for the cockerels….
Bathroom
With towels provided on arrival, our bathroom accommodates a bath and shower head for convenience.
Terrace
An old wooden balcony overlooks luscious greenery and beautiful views. It’s the perfect relaxation spot to catch some sun and sip on a cold beverage.
