Tenacre Cottage is a cosy and quirky semi-detached cottage located on the outskirts of the rural village of Owslebury. Just a 5-mile drive from the medieval city of Winchester, Tenacre Cottage is situated in a prime location perfect for a rural getaway or business stay. Secluded from the busy bustle of the city yet only a swift 10-minute drive, Tenacre Cottage is encircled by acres of fields. Owslebury is home to luscious green surroundings and beautiful scenery, our remote landscape makes it the ideal place for country walks and exploring. You can also find some of the most challenging cycle paths nearby.

House is great with everything you need and plenty of space to cook and eat. House felt very private and the terrace was lovely during the summer evenings.”

“Charming cottage that’s roomier than it looks, plenty of space for two people! Very well placed to enjoy the South Downs near Winchester, with easy access to lots of local walking routes. The Ship Inn in Owslebury is within walking distance and does fantastic roasts, worth a visit.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the cottage, instantly feeling at home! The cottage was very clean and cosy, with a great kitchen and lovely outside eating area, very private and quiet. Lovely upstairs bedroom super comfortable bed and great bath for soaking in after many hikes! The location is brilliant we went on local walks through the countryside, drove to woodlands close by, visited Winchester and all moments away. Louise gave us some great waking tips and was always quick to respond to messages and questions. We definitely recommend staying here for a South Downs visit and would love to come again one day.”
